is based on massaging the sensitive points on the top of client´s body. The pressure is most often performed by fingers of hand or blunt ending of a pointed object.

According TCM, the chi energy in body flows through channels, the so-called meridians. Half of the meridians is called yin and corresponds with the parasympathetic nervous system. The stimulation of points on these meridians leads to relaxation, lowering of heart rate and blood pressure, muscle relaxation etc. The second half of the meridians is called yang and corresponds with the sympathetic nervous system. The stimulation of points on yang meridians leads to accelerated activity, tension, heart rate and blood pressure and stronger muscle contractions. The task is to keep the yin and yang meridians in balance.
