The physiotherapist will thoroughly examine your feet so that they can target the treatment individually.
The goal is to adjust the transverse arch of the front foot, train the correct function of the big toe in standing and in the take-off phase of step, to centre all joints of both legs, train sensory motor activity of the leg and teach client to mobilize their leg by themselves doing exercises at home. By way of targeted rehabilitation and physical treatment the mobility of the affected joints improves and the patient experiences overall improvement.
Early rehabilitation and complementary ultrasound treatment will result in the big toe stopping to turn aside, as well as stopping the inflammation and pain from developing.
