Radial Shock Wave

Radial shock wave is a spatially divergent wave that due to its biological effects provokes regenerating, reconstructive a physiological processes in the human body. The waves allow for a dissolution of calciferous fibroblasts, support collagen production, lower tissue tension and have analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Simply put, the principle of a shock wave work is in the improvement of blood circulation in the place of action and the regeneration of affected cells. The shock wave depth effect is 1-6 cm.

The frequency of the radial shock wave application differs. In acute case the pause between applications is 3-7 days. With the chronic diseases of the locomotor apparatus the range is 7-14 days. The total number of applications depends on the duration of disease, but it ranges from 3-7 applications. The efficiency of the treatment depends on the type of diagnosis, the cooperation of client and the duration of the disease. To increase the efficiency of the treatment, we recommend restricting the sports stressing the treated part of body while undergoing the shock wave treatment.
